We use exclusively T700 carbon fiber for all our fins.

The T700 carbon fiber is a high-performance carbon fiber used in various applications, including aerospace and automotive. T700 carbon fiber is known for its high strength-to-weight ratio, stiffness, and excellent fatigue resistance, making it ideal for freediving fins with the perfect balance of light-weight and strength for high efficiency.

Here are some technical specifications for T700 carbon fiber:

  1. Tensile Strength: Approximately 4900 MPa (710 ksi)
  2. Modulus of Elasticity (Young's Modulus): Around 230 GPa (33.4 Msi)
  3. Density: Approximately 1.8 g/cm^3 (0.065 lb/in^3)
  4. Ultimate Strain: Typically between 1.5% to 2.5%
  5. Filament Diameter:   ~7-8 micrometers

At this time, it takes 2-3 weeks to process orders.
